FOREIGN AND SPECIAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT

specializes mainly in repatriation both of deceased Czech citizens from a foreign country to any place in the Czech Republic and of deceased foreigners from the Czech Republic to any country all over the world.

This department arranges also funeral ceremonies of deceased personages.

Repatriation from a foreign country to the Czech Republic

The repatriation is carried-out either by hearse (from most European countries) or by air (if need be combination of both) – choosing the way of transport depends on the place of death. In both cases we cooperate with a funeral home or with other relevant institution in the country of death happened. Arrangement of the repatriation includes the following services:

• provision of a suitable wooden coffin or casket with a hermetically sealed zinc sealer inside, meeting all international regulations concerning the transportation of human remains, (odkaz na katalog rakví)
• if using a hearse: transportation of the deceased in a coffin by vehicle Ford Mondeo, Mercedes Pollmann or Ford tranzit,
• if using an air transport: arranging a flight to the airport in Prague-Ruzyně and ensuing transport from the airport to any destination in the Czech Republic,
• arrangement of all necessary documents and permits for the repatriation, including the Death Certificate, if need be legalization of the documents,
• in case of interest arrangement of a funeral (cremation, burial) on the territory of the capital of Prague after the transportation is finished.

Also in this case the repatriation is carried-out either by hearse or by air (if need be combination of both) – depends on the place of destination. Arrangement of the repatriation includes the following services:

• provision of a suitable wooden coffin or casket with a hermetically sealed zinc sealer inside, meeting all international regulations concerning the transportation of human remains, (reference to coffins / caskets)
• if using a hearse: transportation of the deceased in a coffin by vehicle Ford Mondeo, Mercedes Pollmann or Ford transit,
• if using an air transport: arranging a flight from the airport in Prague-Ruzyně,
• collection of all necessary documents and permits,
• in case of interest or need arrangement of the embalming of human remains,
• ensuring that all religious ceremonies and rituals can be realized in the premises of the crematorium in Prague-Strašnice.

When the kin wishes to, cremation of the late is an alternative to the transportation of the late in a coffin. The urn with ashes of the late is then sent either into or from the Czech Republic or can be carried personally by the relatives.
